FOUR FREEDOMS FOUNDATION

Roosevelt Island is located on the East River between Manhattan and Queens. The island was previously home to a prison and test center, but now the island is mainly used for residential, commercial or public spaces. On the tip of the island is the FDR Hope Memorial & Four Freedoms Park. Tasked with designing a library for the current partially wooded park, the Four Freedoms Foundation aims to take users on a journey through the four freedoms before arriving at the final reward.
